Throwing a Halloween party? Need fabulous Halloween decoration ideas? Luckily for you, we’ve got plenty of tips on traditional décor like jack-o-lanterns. Get creative with skeletons, pumpkins, cauldrons, streamers, spider webs and other festive touches that you can make yourself. Here are great tips and ideas to decorate your home for a Halloween Party of just for the season:
Candelabras
Dim or shut all your lights and place candelabras throughout. Be sure to invest in some red or black candles. Electric candelabras are a safer option, especially if children will be at your party.
Cobwebs
Cobwebs scream out Halloween. Be aggressive and place cobwebs on plants and mirrors. It is a clever and creative way to decorate everyday home objects with a Halloween theme. For a dramatic effect, place the cobwebs on darker objects, so that the white color of the webs pop.
Cauldrons
Make a centerpiece for your table with a big cauldron. Put some dry ice inside the cauldrons, but be sure to follow the instructions and handle the dry ice with very thick gloves as an extra safety precaution. Top the smoking cauldron off with numerous plastic bones and cobwebs. Keep these cauldrons of dry ice out of children’s reach because dry ice can severely burn skin.
Smoke
Buy a smoke machine or rent one for a smokey Halloween. Don’t forget to make a spooky playlist of music to make the most of this theme.
Use any leftover traditional decorations - jack-o-lanterns and plastic spiders to top everything off!
