If you’re planning on throwing an adult Halloween party, you’ll want to serve festive cocktails. If the party guests will be sporting costumes, the cocktails should as well! Here’s a great cocktail recipe to serve in a wine glass embellished with vampire fangs in fondant.
Dracula Fang Cocktails
You’ll need:
4 cups Baileys Irish Cream Liqueur
1 cup plain vodka, any brand you like
Red food dye
store bought fondant in white
Red gel icing
To make:
Mix all the cocktail ingredients beforehand. Combine Bailey’s and vodka in a glass pitcher. Stir in red food dye until the Bailey’s and vodka resembles blood. To make each cocktail, pour the red mixture into a cocktail shaker with a few ice cubes. Shake the mixture in the shaker and strain it into the fang glasses (instructions below).
Fangs in Fondant:
1. Roll out the purchased white fondant, as if you were rolling out cookie dough, on a cornstarch sprinkled surface.
2. Using a knife, cut out 3-inch wide scary Dracula fangs.
3. Align the top edge of the strip of fangs with the top rim of a wineglass.
4. Rub a few drops of water on the back of the fangs so that they adhere to the glass.
5. Squeeze on “blood drops” of red icing.
