Original Party Ideas for Halloween0 Comments

Get down this Halloween with a groovy Disco 70s theme party. This party idea is great for both adults and kids. Definitely invite your friends and encourage them to bring the kids. This disco party is a great spin on the traditional Halloween party tips.

Dance to the spooky sounds of a Fright Night album. Freak out your guests with spooky décor, spotlights on disco balls, and traditional Halloween decor. Make a pot of funky green fondue. Get tiny disco balls or disco ball ornaments for fun and fill clear vases with them or scatter them on the snack table or buffet table. Spread special Halloween confetti around if you can. If you have hardwood floors at the party venue, you can sprinkle confetti on the floor and they can be easily cleaned up with a broom. Play the traditional Halloween tunes and add 70s hits like the Hustle. Make sure you clear out the furniture so that guests have a dance area; after all, the most fun part of the 70s Halloween party will be the non-stop dancing and the music.

Have a dance-off or a costume contest to make the party more exciting. Be sure to have a prize incentive - a favor or a special Halloween treat to send the winning guest home with. To be nice, you can also coordinate favors for all guests to take home. There are endless possibilities.

Did you know that this Halloween you could have a blast with Halloween Bingo? You can even play with mystery candy! Better yet, you can have a Halloween candy jar guessing game. The fun of playing Halloween games can be endless. Here are all of the tips and ideas you’ll need for playing games and creating festive activities at the next party with the kids.

Everyone has an old set of checkers. Set up the checkers but use Halloween kisses as the game pieces or any other wrapped candy for Halloween. Set up lots of marshmallows and toothpicks on a table. Allow players to build a city of marshmallows by stacking and building with the toothpicks and marshmallows. For added fun, you should purchase marshmallows in different sizes - big and small - or even different colors so that the city can have different shapes and colors. It’s even more fun to eat too! Pass out bingo cards and have the kids use wrapped Halloween candy pieces to mark off numbers as they’re called. Play a relay race with a pile of candy corn being balanced on big spoons. First person to drop a piece is out.

Make the games even more fun by giving out halloween treats and prizes to the winners of each game and activity. Your kids will love this.

Last Minute Halloween Costume Ideas for Couples0 Comments

What makes Halloween the most fun and best Holiday ever? Reason is, there is no other holiday where you can dress up as a ghost to work or to school! Sometimes you’ll find yourself in a crunch and that’s when you’ll need a last minute Halloween costume idea or a costume idea for couples…or both at the same time!

It’s fun to show up at a Halloween party dressed up matching with your date. Unfortunately, sometimes finding a really great couple’s costume isn’t easy. We have a detailed guide for really great couples’ Halloween costume ideas for $100 or less. They’re sure to make a splash at your next party. Now for a spooky peek at the favorite and affordable couples costumes:

Try the super posh Beckhams. The costume construction is actually quite easy and good for when you need a last minute idea. There are plenty of ways to define Victoria and David Beckham: to be Victoria, choose a skimpy and strappy dress. Wear big sunglasses and sport a short, dark bob wig. To be David, wear a soccer team uniform, and a shaggy blond wig. For an added effect, bandage your ankle.

There’s lots of chemistry between The Wizard of Oz’s Dorothy and the Scarecrow. Use this classic film and liven up your Halloween party costume. There are two Dorothys. There is the innocent Kansas girl with pigtail braids but there is also the glamorous Emerald City Dorothy, with flowing curly locks–either way, you’ll do no wrong.

Maybe you should go to the party as a pair of pirates! Ever since the first “Pirates of the Caribbean” movie, pirates have become very popular Halloween choices.

Shock people at your party with an Electrical Socket and Plugcouple costume. There’s a plug costume for the man and a socket costume for the woman. Let your imagination run wild.
